 二十載，林懷民新作「聽河」跨出「水月」的唯美，沒
 有情節，卻又處處故事，不吟誦抒情，而以科技建構起
 新世紀的新美學，俐落，生猛，讓人目不暇給，低迴不
 已。\n\n極簡的舞台上，一道素白的布，前製的影像與攝
 影師追逐舞者捕捉的畫面，對應著舞者的動作交互出現
 。舞台瞬息萬變，是漣漪、漩渦，是呢喃的小溪、沉靜
 的大河、湍急的瀑布……\n\n水在舞者身上，舞者在水中
 間。一條條不同的河流，一個個不同的生命故事，快樂
 、悲傷、安靜與躁亂，似真似幻。\n\n然而，河流什麼也
 沒說，只是映照著我們內心的風景。\n\nChoreographer LIN\, Hw

 h a tour through Barbican Center in London\, Kennedy Center in Washington 
 D.C.\, and the Winter Olympic Arts Festival in Vancouver\, will celebrate 
 the Taiwan International Festival with the world premiere of Listening to 
 the River.\n\nFor more than 20 years\, LIN Hwai-min has been living by the
  Dan Suei River. The river is a major source of inspiration for his creati
 ve works. One of them is his masterpiece Moon Water\, in which water liter
 ally seeps on to the stage. The new work Listening to the River breaks awa
 y from romantic lyricism\, instead utilizes technology to express contempo
 rary sensitivities.
